Circuit Information

The Suzuka circuit was built in 1962 and is located in Ino, just outside Suzuka City in the Mie Prefecture in Japan. The Suzuka Circuit is known as one of the most challenging tracks in the world, hosting numerous top-level races including the Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix. The most unique feature of the Suzuka circuit is its “figure-of-eight” layout which consists of several straights and curves, making the track both clockwise and counter-clockwise at the same time. Many drivers adore this exciting and iconic design, which has played host to an array championship-deciding battles throughout the years. The extremely fast and technical circuit is popular with spectators and has some of the most notorious corners in motorsport, such as the Spoon Curve and 130R.
